Tools implementation and execution
in physical setups.

Introduction

Robots and automations are taking over in many industries with an exponential speed.
Many are afraid of losing their jobs to these new technologies – but the former jobs are simply replaced by new ones.
In earlier times, we did what the robots and automations
now do – our new job is to develop, program, implement and maintain these tools.
This development is a key interest for me, and I love helping the schools prepare their children for this transition.
Switching on the kid’s idea
generation for how they can do this and why it is great fun, opens for a broader future.

Content

I teach the children step by step how to sequence-code robots and implement tools to function in physical setups.
I use small robots that are programmed with color
sequence codes, and I have developed physical tools and theme sheets that are specially designed to play with and learn from.
In this way, they will get an understanding of the capabilities of robots, and what goes into getting them to do the desired tasks.
The workshop is designed to allow the children to immerse into the material, and thereby getting a deeper understanding of this new field.

Future perpective

Working with robot coding at an early age, will not only encourage the children to develop their skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics – it will do so while keeping them engaged
and entertained.
If children early on, and in a playful way, learn about these technologies, they are more eager to choose studies in programming and technology implementation, when choosing their path later in life.
Therefore, it is very beneficial for the children early on to understand and achieve intuitive skills connecting programming to real-world execution.

It is essential that children are introduced early on and in a playful way, to the connection between coding robots and the implementation to operate in a real setup.


This early understanding can be incredibly beneficial, potentially sparking an interest that could shape the future of our society.

As they grow up, robot technology will be every where.

Actually it already is.
